Knowledge Space Builder
Knowledge Space Builder is a tool that allows a course author to develop special type of adaptive testing scenarios. While standard tests typically give result as a numerical measure of a student progress, the knowledge space based tests provide precise and complete information of a student competence in a subject in a form of a knowledge state describing topics or skills mastered by that student and the ones the student is most ready to learn. Due to the adaptive nature of testing algorithm tests created with Knowledge Space Builder adapt to the knowledge level of a student and omit the test questions that the student is likely to know (or not to know) how to answer. Thus, such tests allow quick determination of a student knowledge state.
